Danish goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard has confirmed that Manchester United are interested in signing him.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has sent his goalkeeping coach Eric Steele to watch Lindegaard on a number of occasions and now the stopper, who plays for Norwegian side Aalesunds, has revealed the Red Devils are keen on signing him.
The 26-year-old said: "There are a lot of rumours in the press about the clubs interested in me, but some of them are actually quite accurate. And yes, it is Manchester United.
"I know there is interest from United, it is not just coming from the press."
